Thoughts:   A group of strangers in a diner come under attack from demons. The Archangel Michael comes to their aid and reveals that an unborn child is humanity's last hope.

This initially appears to be a smart-looking survival film. There's action and carnage aplenty as the diner's occupants get attacked. Then it all changes pace.

Sadly that's not in a good way as this all becomes a bit of a grind. For some reason, nothing wants to take on Michael and the story loses a lot.

There wasn't much investment in the characters early on so when it all slows down, who cares about them?

needThere are some nice ideas at play, the whole premise being a good one, but too much is left as a mystery. Add to that, the story is choppy with some poor lines and large chunks of scenes just needing a tightening in the edit.

It starts well enough but quickly peters out.
