Thoughts: A woman fills her calling to become a long-foretold paladin.

This is a sequel with the same director and writers. The sequel part is that this is a second tale of an emerging dragon slayer, rather than continuing the previous story.
The scenes look nice and the cast seems to try very hard, but there are a number of holes in this film. The CGI is average and some of the acting, whilst perhaps enthusiastic, isn't the best.
In additon, too many characters don't have enough depth. They come and go, with us never really attaching to them. The lead character lacks what I want from her much vaunted hero status.
I found myself having to fill in a few gaps with my own imagination, and there are some very irksome errors in the continuity, especially one magically self-cleaning dress.
In the end this falls short of its loosely related predecessor.
