Thoughts: A rescue ship investigates another vessel that had disappeared into a black hole but has now returned. And something is on board.

This is a surprisingly chilling creep fest. The ship interiors are lit to give some real mood and threat to everything, and it's an accomplished mix of the horror and sci-fi genres.
The cast generally does very well with Neill shining. There isn't that much to the script and the plot is relatively straightforward, but the tension is oppressive, in a very good way.
The horror builds as the film continues, with the effects and gruesome elements increasing too. This all leads to an effective ending. The drip, drip, drip, works very well.
There is a lot to like with this leaning more towards horror than sci-fi by the end.. It's a slow hunt with plenty of mental torture, and the spaceship just happens to be the setting.
But it is very enjoyable.
