Thoughts: A group of survivors struggle in a world where civilization has been almost obliterated. They must overcome mutants and diseases to establish mankind once more.

This is a simple enough tale to start, with a tribal society depicted reasonably, the relatively unknown actors all doing well.
There are a few holes in their set up though, and an attack on their camp is a rapid escalation. Where are their traps? What about some buildings?
There are lots of gaps that even the best interactions won't fill. The story though builds well as the threats come to the tribe and the leads must flee. They then meet Amal.
Bean is, of course, as good as ever. He's instantly rugged and realistic and plays the guide-type character very well.
Overall this looks nice and the handful of CGI elements are well crafted. The acting is generally good and as long as a little belief can be suspended, it's enjoyable.
